About the Role As an Analytics Engineer you will play an important role in developing and maintaining the data stack to support the business's data-driven decision-making. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandise, IT and Finance, you will be the backbone behind valuable insights and recommendations. This role is for an individual who thrives on taking the initiative, is interested in working and learning about all aspects of the data stack and is confident in the accuracy of their output. Responsibilities Ingesting and modelling data sources using Fivetran, Snowpipe, Snowflake, and DBT Developing and maintaining dashboards and visualisations using Sigma Contributing to the development of the data stack, including data architecture and ETL processes Conducting data quality checks and ensuring data accuracy and consistency Performing ad hoc analysis and reporting on business KPIs Collaborating internally with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations Collaborating externally with tool providers and data consultants Skills Attention to detail and rigorous approach to data analysis Ability to work independently and take initiative Experience working in an analytics role in a fast-paced environment (2 years preferred) Tertiary level educated (e.g. STEM) and/or relevant qualifications Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools Experience using and maintaining (desired) a modern data stack (Fivetran, Snowpipe, Snowflake, DBT and Sigma or similar) Experience with Cloud technologies (i.e. GCP and Azure) (desired) Experience working with marketing data sources (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, etc.) (desired) Experience with predictive analytics (bonus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for data and eagerness to learn new technologies Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment Employee Benefits 33 days annual leave for full time employees (25 days holiday 8 bank holidays) A day off to celebrate your birthday.
