We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated clinicians to RDASH's CYP Crisis Team. These dynamic team members will form part of our skilled, multidisciplinary team, and will play a key role in the implementation and delivery of the service. Successful applicants will be part of the established CYP Crisis Team and be supported by knowledgeable and skilled Band 6 Practitioners and Band 7 Clinical Leads. You will develop your skills and practice, with the support of the Crisis Team. Main duties of the job Clinical knowledge and relevant awareness of assessing and managing risk within amental health or social care setting is desirable, however continuing support anddevelopment opportunities will be provided. Professional registration with HCPC,Social Work England or the NMC is required. Key components of the role that you will assist with comprehensive mental healthrisk assessment, planning crisis interventions, providing follow ups as required andappropriately safeguarding young people. You will work under close supervision tocollaboratively promote safety and support young people and their family/carersthrough face-to-face work. The post also involves liaison with other services andexternal agencies to ensure effective pathways of care. This is a unique and extremely rewarding but challenging role. You will be workingas part of a team, and you will need a high level of emotional resilience to supportyoung people and families at times of distress. In the future you may also berequired to work alone at times and need to prioritise work to be flexible to meet theneeds of the service. Due to the geographical area covered it is also essential thatyou have the ability to travel in order to attend assessments, these may be acrossthe whole RDaSH footprint of Rotherham, Doncaster and Scunthorpe. Teammembers will be required to work a variety of shift patterns to meet the requirementsof the service.
