Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Manager with extensive experience in Afro-Caribbean food and delicacies to oversee both the physical store and online operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
As a key figure in our business, the Store Manager will be responsible for managing daily store operations, developing an online sales platform, and leading the digital transformation of our processes. They will also be instrumental in sourcing authentic products, analyzing market trends, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Store Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Online Sales Platform Development: Manage and optimize the store’s online sales platform to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experience.
* Digital Transformation: Introduce and oversee digital tools to improve inventory management, marketing, and customer engagement, while training staff on their use.
* Strategic Leadership: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, adapt product offerings, and develop strategies to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
* Supplier and Product Management: Source high-quality Afro-Caribbean products, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure timely deliveries.
* Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and employment regulations, while preparing regular performance reports for senior management.
Key Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
* Proven experience in retail management, preferably in Afro-Caribbean food stores or a similar industry.
* Extensive knowledge of Afro-Caribbean food and delicacies, with the ability to advise on product selection and sourcing.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and operations effectively.
* Experience in e-commerce and digital tools for inventory and customer engagement.
