Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote | Travel across London
Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract 5-6 months, possibility of going permanent.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
Oversee the delivery of projects, tasks, and workstreams, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
Create and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Apply appropriate methods to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Monitor and evaluate project performance using the necessary systems, tools, and techniques.
Communicate effectively with clients and escalate issues to management as needed.
Build and nurture relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies.
Establish and maintain partnerships with third-party vendors and service providers.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Take a proactive and customer-focused approach, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Address and document customer-driven actions, even those outside immediate control, and drive them toward resolution.Requirements and Skills:
Strong educational background.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the FM Transport industry.
Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
Excellent organisational skills, with an emphasis on detail and multitasking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with Smartsheet is advantageous.
Certifications in AGILE, PRINCE II, APM, or PMP are highly desirable.
Willingness to travel nationally, with occasional overnight stays when required.
Flexibility to manage multiple projects across various locations.
Familiarity with the Facility Management, Cleaning, or Transport industries is ideal.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, as well as solid organisational abilities. Your ability to develop detailed project plans, measure project performance, and perform risk management will be crucial in minimising project risks. Additionally, your working knowledge of Microsoft Office and, ideally, Smartsheet, will aid you in tracking project progress and providing stakeholders with regular updates.
