AMS Change Manager
Location: Hybrid working, Worthing
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs
Salary: Up to £50,000 based on experience
The installation of Smart Meters is a key strategic initiative that will help us, and our customers, to minimise the amount of water we abstract from the environment, and the associated carbon and fiscal impact. It will enable a fundamentally different way of engaging with our customers and establishing enhanced levels of customer satisfaction. The AMS Change Manager position is a new role and an exciting initiative that is vital to us driving the customer engagement and operational changes required to reduce water consumption and leakage identification and enhancing our customers experience of Southern Water.
Reporting into the Alternative Metering Service (AMS) Programme Delivery Manager, you will ensure the change impacts are understood and that plans are put in place to enable fast adoption to maximise the benefits of the change programme, whilst ensuring the business is able to deliver a high quality customer experience. This role will be self-supporting and be expected to bring required methodologies and tooling, being at a level of sufficient expertise and experience that enables the skills and knowledge to be transferred to others.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a tenacious, diplomatic, innovative Change Manager adept at working with people to change behaviours, develop new process and procedural blueprints, supporting new ways of working. In addition identifying and delivering continuous improvement throughout our journey, you will be empathetic and able to work with people at various levels to support, collaborate with, and deliver the change needed.
