Eligibility: Have you lived in the UK for 5 years or longer?
An excellent opportunity for a person with a background in Customer Service, to promote the company’s services and control service requests from customers professionally and quickly to meet customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. To liaise with the Service Manager to ensure that all service and sales related follow up is undertaken promptly and provides first class customer service.
2. Administer quotes, service requests, purchase orders and invoices for service accurately and quickly, chasing third parties where necessary.
3. Arrange service visits by in-house engineers and third-party engineers, providing spares as appropriate, and liaising with all parties to provide effective service support in line with our strategy and in accordance with warranty and product maintenance commitments.
4. Compile and issue invoices to clients and ensure correct uploading into the finance system.
5. Have commercial awareness of the marketplace and customers’ account activity and needs for products and services.
6. Support the Service Manager in proactively supporting existing (and potential) key service clients to develop and grow relationships and maximize sales revenues.
7. Understand the scope and potential of customer needs for the company’s products and services and assist with service-related quotations (training will be given).
8. Receive service reports, review and recommend appropriate follow-up and/or pass to Technical Manager/Service Director where there is a sales opportunity.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
1. To have lived in the UK for 5 years or longer for security clearance.
2. Possess a keen customer focus and commercial awareness.
3. Flexible attitude.
4. Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised, and to delegate and multitask.
5. Ability to drive through difficult issues to completion and to pre-empt problems arising.
6. Strong Customer Relationship skills by phone, email, and face to face essential.
