The Role
We're seeking an accomplished Executive Search Consultant to join our growing team in Leeds. This is a senior position with partnership potential for the right candidate, offering the opportunity to build and lead your own practice while contributing to the firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
8. Develop and win new business through proactive client engagement and relationship building
9. Lead end-to-end retained search assignments for C-Suite and Board-level positions
10. Conduct and oversee comprehensive market mapping exercises
11. Deliver strategic talent insights through salary benchmarking and market analysis
12. Manage executive outplacement programmes
13. Oversee personality profiling and assessment processes
14. Ensure rigorous referencing and compliance procedures
15. Build and maintain strong networks within the executive community
16. Provide strategic counsel to clients on organisational design, succession planning, and talent strategy
17. Manage and mentor junior team members
18. Contribute to the firm's thought leadership and market positioning
19. Develop and maintain framework agreements with key clients
Required Experience & Skills
20. Proven track record (minimum 5 years) in executive search, with demonstrable success in winning and delivering retained mandates
21. Experience in delivering multiple service lines including market mapping, salary surveys, and outplacement
22. Knowledge of personality profiling tools and assessment methodologies
23. Strong commercial acumen and ability to build lasting relationships at board level
24. Experience in C-Suite and Board-level appointments across multiple sectors
25. Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously
26. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
27. Strong analytical and research capabilities
28. Established network of senior executives and board members
