Our client, a renowned company within the water sector, is currently seeking a Regional Pump Engineer to join their team in Derby. This is a permanent opportunity suitable for a skilled individual with a background in mechanical and electrical systems, looking to advance their career in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Service and maintain pumps, hoses, and generators to a high standard across a regional basis. Reduce backlogs of non-RFH equipment at depots, either on-site or transporting to the home depot. Undertake major repairs and refurbishments. Ensure servicing is up-to-date both on-site and at depots. Diagnose faults and perform repairs on a variety of pumps and equipment within the fleet, both on and off-site. Check and tag all equipment and update service records. Maintain a clean, organised workshop and vehicle where provided. Adhere to safe working practices and report all incidents or accidents. Job Requirements: Experience in mechanical and electrical aspects of pumps, hoses, and generators is essential. Relevant pump qualification or being a time-served pump engineer required; CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable. Full valid driving licence is essential. Flexible attitude to meet the evolving needs of the region. Excellent problem-solving skills and superior fitting abilities.
