We are currently seeking a People Assistant to join a professional services firm based in Newcastle to cover maternity leave.
Hybrid and flexible working are available.
The opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator or Assistant to join a HR function to work with members of the wider people team. You will support the People team and be assigned to a defined sub-region of the organisation.
You will:
Provide support with employee relations processes to managers and leaders.
Supporting with onboarding of new staff.
Manage sickness absence, and updating people records.
Monitoring and addressing absence trends.
Analyse and report data.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and members of the people team
Collaborate with the Partnering Team to understand local business needs.
Support with changes in policies as and when the arise.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide high-quality support for the people team.

How we will reward you:
A salary between £26000 and £28000 depending on experience.
