About the Role: Teach Resistant Materials at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering the National Curriculum and inspiring creativity in students. Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the continued development of the D&T curriculum, ensuring its alignment with current trends and industry best practices. Play a key role in maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment within the workshops. Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues within the D&T department and wider school community. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified teacher with a strong track record of success in teaching Resistant Materials at KS3 and KS4. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for design and innovation. The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that motivates and inspires students. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
