Looking for an interesting and rewarding part-time job based near Ayr, South Ayrshire.
Are you a good listener? A helpful, outgoing, enthusiastic female with a “can do” and “happy to help” attitude? A chatty, cheerful person who likes interacting with others?
We are looking for someone who is utterly dependable, honest, and able to think on her feet.
If you think you have the above attributes, this job, which is based in Ayr, could be perfect. The role is a Personal Assistant to a lively, outgoing, female wheelchair user, who is very active and sociable.
You will assist her with a variety of everyday tasks and activities, both domestic, personal, and social. In other words, to be an assistant, facilitator, and champion.
She is a very outgoing 30-something-year-old woman who enjoys live music, arts and crafts, and gardening. Like most young women, she likes to go out and socialize, meet new people, try new things, and explore new places.
You will also assist her in various creative projects. Over lockdown, she found a love for painting and has a few of her art pieces in a local shop. One of your roles will be to assist her in these adventures.
It is very important that you both have some similar interests, enjoy the same sort of things, and get along well together.
The hours are very flexible and can fit around other commitments. No previous experience or formal qualifications are required as all necessary training will be provided. However, a willingness to listen and learn is vitally important.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a “can do” attitude, and has an outgoing, friendly, helpful personality.
Hourly rate: £12.00 with a wide range of hours available. The employer is flexible and willing to discuss further at the interview stage.
You will also be required to help out when other staff are off on annual leave or sick leave.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a new or update of the PVG disclosure scheme and provide 2 up-to-date reference contacts.
There will be a 6-month probationary period attached to this post, which will be advised to you if you are successful. The position can be terminated by either party by giving 1 week's notice.
