We are seeking a Business Development Manager with tenacity, drive, and strategic thinking to generate new business, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities via outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking.
2. Utilise existing databases and self-source contacts to build a robust sales pipeline.
3. Identify target industries, focusing on large-scale and SME manufacturing businesses, understanding their energy needs.
4. Follow strategic sales processes for prospecting and business development.
5. Engage decision-makers to qualify leads and book meetings for the Sales Director.
6. Develop a strong understanding of the company's energy solutions to effectively pitch offerings.
7. Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients, fostering trust and credibility.
8. Leverage LinkedIn for meaningful connections and prospect engagement.
9. Retain and manage developed accounts to secure residual revenue.
10. Achieve and exceed new business targets to contribute to company growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Telesales, ideally within the energy sector or solution sales environment.
2. Proven success in generating new business through outbound calling and digital outreach.
3. High work rate, resilience, and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong cold calling, objection handling, and negotiation skills.
5. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
6. Ability to follow structured sales strategies with a creative approach to lead generation.
7. Proficiency with CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
