About the Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK and international presence, they are looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Take full responsibility for the manufacturing area, ensuring safety and quality are adhered to at all times.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety including risk assessments, incident and accident reporting, PPE, and safety audits.
3. Manage and review KPI Production outputs, following the production plan and reacting to issues as they may arise.
4. Man management: interviews, appraisals, disciplinaries.
5. Drive continuous improvement activities in line with 5S standards.
6. Liaise with other departments, ensuring compliance with shift patterns.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. ILM Level 3 in supervisory qualifications or similar.
2. Proven experience within the manufacturing environment and in leadership roles.
3. Proven experience of leading teams.
4. Managing and executing production targets and plans.
5. Experience using a SAP or MRP system.
