Working across all phases, the successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic leadership of the school, with a primary focus on driving excellence in teaching and learning. They will ensure lead a subject area and work alongside subject leaders and other member of the senior leadership team to ensure high-quality teaching, effective curriculum implementation, and outstanding pupil progress across all phases through coaching, team teaching and staff development. We are looking for someone who: Will lead by example in line with our Red Lane Way, fostering a culture where every child, staff member, and community member feels valued and supported Has proven and credible experience at senior leadership level with a proven record of raising academic standards as a direct result of their leadership and teaching Has strong knowledge of teaching and assessment in all of the primary phases and is able to model, promote and develop high quality teaching and learning strategies across the school Has experience of effective curriculum design that has been implemented successfully with measurable impact. Will challenge, lead and empower staff to be the best they can be so that our children achieve the very best outcomes. Has experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged pupils and is committed to breaking down barriers to achieve the very best outcomes, with a strong focus on addressing educational disadvantage and improving pupil attainment through high-quality teaching, targeted support, and inclusive practice. Is innovative, creative and motivational with excellent communication skills Is committed to research-informed practice, ensuring that teaching strategies are evidence-based, effective, and lead to the best possible outcomes for all pupils. Will initially not be class based but will teach in year groups across the school supporting staff and the development of high quality teaching, learning and pedagogy.
