My client who are a specialist joinery manufacturer who manufacture hand crafted furniture and joinery for high end shop fits and the residential market are looking to recruit for a production manager.
Main responsibilites
* Processing off all work and projects requiring to be manufactured by compiling a production pack
* Taking projects from ‘sketch’ stage through to ‘production-pack’ stage ready for the workshop may include; Client and supplier leasing, site surveys, creative problem solving, sourcing of products, materials and ironmongery, team discussions.
* Ensuring that the factory always has a supply of completed production packs to draw down upon.
* Always being on had to any member of staff in the discussion of any project.
* Working with third parties and sub-contractors in the support of the above.
* Working alongside the operations and workshop manager to fulfil company targets and objectives.
* Assist in QC process
* Ordering materials for projects
* Keep work schedule updated for the workshop
* Cutting sheets
* Make sure install/delivery team has a delivery note for client to sign
* Help to organise logistics around install – advising Office Manager of anything that needs to be booked such as hotels, parking...
