SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE
My client is a traditional, busy law firm that has a fantastic opportunity to join their busy family law team as an Assistant in their Taunton Office.
The Role & Responsibilities:
1. This is a busy and varied role whereby you will be assisting the solicitors carrying out assistant/secretarial duties.
2. You will be liaising with clients and third parties, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, typing, filing, and general support duties.
3. Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, manage the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of hard and soft files, and communicate professionally with clients.
4. Manage diaries, book meeting rooms, prepare mail, arrange copying/scanning, alongside a whole host of admin duties.
Person Specification:
1. The successful candidate will be experienced, preferably with a background in this area of law.
2. Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts.
3. Commitment to providing excellent client care.
4. Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
5. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
6. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements.
7. Team-focused with a flexible “can do” and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
8. Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships.
