What to Expect As Raylo scales rapidly, we are looking for an Operations Strategy Director to lead the execution of key strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for leading a team focused on improving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring scalability as the business grows. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will explore, define, and prioritise strategic projects that directly impact our growth trajectory. You will work cross-functionally with teams across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Strategy to optimise processes, implement automation, and create a world-class operations function. In the long term, you will help shape Raylo’s operational strategy, ensuring we continue to scale efficiently while maintaining exceptional service levels. What You’ll Do - Lead and manage the Operations Strategy team, ensuring the effective prioritisation and execution of strategic initiatives. - Define and implement new projects to streamline Raylo’s operations, with a focus on automation, AI integration, and efficiency improvements. - Develop and present business cases for new initiatives, working closely with Finance and Leadership to secure buy-in. - Optimise operational processes to improve margins, collections revenue, and cost efficiencies while delivering an outstanding customer experience. - Collaborate with internal business leaders across Supply Chain, Product, Strategy & Data, and Finance to drive strategic initiatives forward. - Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Establish and oversee key performance metrics to track progress, holding teams accountable for delivering impactful results. You’ll Succeed With - 10 years of experience in operations strategy, consulting, consumer finance, or a relevant industry (Tech, FMCG, Financial Services). - 5 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams. - Strong analytical skills with experience with SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI). - A data-driven mindset, able to build and analyse business cases to justify investment and prioritisation decisions. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership. - Experience in process optimisation, Lean Six Sigma, or project management methodologies. - A deep curiosity and passion for automation, AI, and innovative solutions that drive operational excellence. \n \n We’re not looking for you to meet every point on this job description, please still get in touch if you think you could add value and do your best work here at Raylo.
