The Team:
An opportunity has become available for a Product Controller to join the Global Commodities BFC function within Chester. You will be joining a team of 23 who cover BFC responsibilities across core product lines covering Metals, Oil, Gas & Power and Index products.
The role will initially focus on one product line and core PnL controls and subsequently broaden product and market knowledge.
The Role:
* Perform Cash Reconciliation, FOBO reconciliation, Balance Sheet reconciliations
* PnL Production / Explain
* Perform PnL Substantiation
* Perform Balance Sheet Substantiation
* Perform valuation control routines (IPV, Pru Val, LVAs)
* Ledger / period end control routines
* Analysis and Reporting

What we look for?
* Experience working as a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or Product Controller
* Financial markets knowledge and interest
* Excel expertise / Managing large data sets
* Ability to interpret dynamic systems and information flows
* Solid written and verbal skills
* Accountancy or financial qualification (not essential)
