Assistant Manager/Manager required. My client is one of the West Midlands leading accountancy firms, established for over two decades, working with a wide variety of clients across different industries.
Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team in Halesowen.
Assistant Manager/Manager Position Overview
1. Manage the team and help train more junior members of staff
2. Review work completed by the team
3. Be the point of contact for a number of clients and distribute the workload
4. Carry out tax compliance for clients
5. Perform adhoc tasks as they arise
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice and will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified.
Assistant Manager/Manager Position Requirements
1. 5+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice
2. ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
3. Good accountancy knowledge
4. A highly organised individual
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Previous audit experience would be ideal but not essential

Assistant Manager/Manager Position Remuneration
1. £35,000-£45,000 basic salary
2. 25 days' holiday + bank holidays

This is a fully office-based role, so a suitable commute to the Halesowen area is essential.
