Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service;
We are currently recruiting for a Training and Development Coordinator to work in our manufacturing site in Merthyr Tydfil.
Job role:
* In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in the thorough planning and successful implementation of our employee training programs.
* The role involve working closely with various departmental managers and line trainers to assess and pinpoint specific training needs within their teams.
* You will take charge of keeping our training matrices current, showcasing the skills and qualifications of our workforce, and ensuring every employee has access to vital training for their career growth.
* Your role will also encompass the creative design and delivery of dynamic training sessions that accommodate different learning styles while effectively imparting critical skills.
* Additionally, you will proactively oversee employee development initiatives, making sure our workforce stays not only compliant with industry regulations but also continually advancing in their skills and expertise.
* This proactive approach will be essential in achieving our organizational goals and adapting to the ever-changing operational needs of our business.
This is a full time, permanent position working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Requirements
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities, enabling you to inspire and engage employees and line trainers effectively.
* Outstanding organizational skills that allow you to juggle multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
* Skilled in assessing the effectiveness of training programs and pinpointing opportunities for enhancement.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as various training software tools.
* A solid understanding of learning principles and best practices in training.
