Hotel, located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms
National Park, is recruiting an experienced Assistant Reservations
Manager to join the team!
The
role will provide support to the Revenue & Reservations Manager and the
Reservations Team to deliver the utmost quality of service exceeding the
expectation of our guest experience in every aspect of their stay so that they
leave us feeling enriched and engaged in our ethos as well as well as meeting
our sales targets. You’ll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair
and a passion for brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow.
As Assistant Reservations Manager, you will be
responsible for:
* Assisting the
Reservations & Revenue Manager to control rates and inventory.
* Assisting the
Reservations & Revenue Manager to ensure all rates are loaded in the
GDS and Opera system for ease of reservations.
* Checking regularly
and sharing information on the market situation including weekly checks and
report on booking trends in the market.
* Assisting the
Reservations & Revenue Manager to supervise the Reservationists in their
daily duties, including pick-up reports, travel agents’ commissions, team
member responses to guests, etc.
* Training, developing,
and motivating the Reservations team to increase productivity and efficiency.
* Actively
contributing to achieve the Room Revenue and Overall Revenue targets of the
hotel and contribute with creative ideas and professional input to surpassing
the targets set by the Hotel Budget and performance standard measurement tool.
Our successful Assistant Reservations Manager
will have:
* Previous experience with Opera Cloud.
* Excellent written and spoken English –
additional languages are an advantage.
* Proven experience from within a similar luxury
5-star hospitality environment.
* Experience working with LQA/Forbes standards is a bonus.
* Initiative,
emotional intelligence, strong communication, and organisation skills.
* Experience in
training, coaching and mentoring others.
* The ability to work under pressure.
* A passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences.
