Description
This role is for the Facilities Maintenance Manager within the Park Operations and Venues Directorate (POV). POV looks after the day-to-day operation of the park including the major Venues, Security, Events, Assets and Estates, and the management of the Grounds and Facilities. The role will support the work of the Directorate, specifically working with the Venues and Park assets and reporting to the Head of Contract Management.
The role will enable the day-to-day activities for the smooth operation and facilities management on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The role holder will interface with the venue operator at the London Aquatics Centre, the tenants at the Copper Box Arena, ArcelorMittal Orbit, Riverside East café, and Timber Lodge, the Horticulture and Grounds maintenance contractor, Design and Construction Related Consultancy Services (DCRCS) provider, and Lifecycle contractor.
The role supports the POV team and delivers key activities, KPI managing and monitoring, FM compliance, recommendations, processes, approvals, meetings, site visits, inspections, reviewing documentation, and developing and supporting task order contracts. Coordinating core activities across the team and escalating and highlighting matters of importance. The role will involve project management for Lifecycle contracts and key park projects such as the lighting review.
The role will be responsible for delivering wider FM and Project Management deliverables across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park estate as required.

An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills working well in a team. Someone who is organised and delivers results.

* The salary for this post is £55,683 per annum. LLDC operates a performance-based incremental pay scale.
* The probationary period for this post is for three months. Upon successful completion of the probation period, confirmation of employment will be given and the notice period will be one month.
* This is proposed as a full-time post working 37 hours per week, although this post will be considered for flexible working.
