Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to work within the Professional development & Clinical Assurance (PDCA) team at University Hospitals of Leicester. The post holder will be required to lead the PDCA pharmacy teams' administration and clerical tasks, initially focusing on aspects of rota management, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Main duties of the job The initial focus of the post will be supporting core aspects of the team administration. There are multiple rotas across the pharmacy department which are essential to the functioning of our team and this role is essential to maintain our service. This role will play a key role to support this function. Other key areas are: Rota support as mentioned Annual leave approval and balances for PDCA team HELM compliance monitoring Recruitment paperwork support Meeting scheduling, agenda and minutes for PDCA Team organogram and line management structure Room booking support Support managing sickness including target letters and associated documents Support with cost centre reports/sickness reports Appraisal database maintenance HR paperwork support Potential expansion of the role will look at how other specific admin tasks completed by the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians could be undertaken instead by specialist admin support.
