Job Description
Climate Risks & Strategy Roles
Ramboll Management Consulting (RMC) works with private and public clients across the globe delivering integrated sustainability transformation. Our clients come to RMC for our combination of sustainability, strategy, financial, and business expertise. A key current growth area, driven by legislation and frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), is supporting clients to understand, disclose, and manage their transition and physical climate risks.
As part of our global strategy, we are ‘all in on sustainability’ and a key focus area is driving substantial growth in ESG and sustainability strategy, including with Ramboll’s extensive clients for whom we deliver environmental and engineering services.
You will be a key member of our growing team in the UK, whilst working with colleagues internationally, as we shape the future of our climate risk and strategy services. We are looking for candidates at a range of experience, so if you are looking for development and leadership opportunities and have the passion, experience, and vision to help us achieve our ambitions, then this role might be for you!
If this sounds like you, or you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Management Consultant division in a Climate Risk and Strategy role and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.
Your new team and role
You will be part of a growing global team. Ramboll Management Consulting is one of the largest management consultancies in the Nordics, with an established heritage within the provision of sustainability leadership and guidance to both the public and private sectors.

We provide our clients with access to the entire Ramboll platform, one with a global knowledge base of 17,000 colleagues that gives us a sought-after edge in combining engineering and science with management consulting.
In the UK, our team of management consultants, economists, and sustainability specialists work together to deliver innovative and novel solutions to the most pressing sustainability problems for a wide range of clients across Europe and globally.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Support clients in understanding their transition and physical climate risks and opportunities, developing responses to these and disclosing them.
* Continuously develop and improve our climate services offering and engage with existing and new clients to generate business opportunities.
* Manage, supervise, and deliver consulting projects throughout their entire cycle: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
About you
From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. For this role, we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
These include:

* Demonstrable understanding and experience in climate risk requirements of legislation and frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy, Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
* Degree level qualifications in climate, business, management, or sustainability.

* Be valued for the unique person you are.
* Never be short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects.
* The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company.
* Flexible work environment.
* Hybrid working.
* 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
* Matched pension contributions.
* Private medical cover and life assurance.
