The Community Resource team (CRT) is part of Cardiff Council's Independent Living Services (ILS) that works in partnership with vulnerable adults to support them in living independently at home and connected to their communities.
CRT is a joint service provided by Cardiff Council and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board that aims to support adults, through therapy and/or home care, to recover or maintain their ability to live independently at home. The service encourages and supports people to learn or re-learn skills necessary for daily living, following a period of illness or after a stay in hospital. The reablement support provided by the CRT helps our citizens discover their capabilities and gives them the confidence to do things independently.
