Job Purpose:
To coordinate H&S within the factory by providing proactive support to the General Manager, producing reports & statistics to deadlines, and ensuring effective training processes are developed and maintained across the plants.
Role Accountabilities:
1. Be involved in the writing of Safe Systems of Work and SOPs.
2. Provide information & advice in Health & Safety to all levels.
3. Ensure that accurate training records are maintained for all employees, regularly reviewed to reflect ongoing business changes and developments.
4. Monitor, evaluate, and audit all training activities by processing KPIs to drive plant and individual performance.
5. Responsible for the total induction process within the plant, ensuring new recruits settle in quickly and are effective in their roles.
6. Work with the management team to develop people capability and implement change for improved plant performance.
7. Develop new training processes, systems, and courses to meet evolving business needs.
8. Prepare information for audits and maintain records to meet business and customer audit requirements.
9. Coordinate and mentor employees completing external studies or courses, liaising with external providers as needed.
10. Ensure all processes, records, training activities, systems, and KPIs align with the training strategy.
11. Assist departments with risk assessments and implement solutions for identified issues.
12. Support management in accident investigations.
13. Conduct regular audits with the management team.
14. Provide accurate data on accident and environmental stats, and assist in minimizing accidents and improving environmental KPIs.
15. Maintain records of assessments and actions.
16. Help achieve actions in plans by coordinating with relevant managers.
17. Present VTS modules to all employees.
Must Haves:
* Strong communication skills.
* Managing Safely certification or working towards it.

* Proficient in PC use, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.

* 37.5 Hours per week
* Shift pattern - Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 17:00, Friday 8:30 - 14:30
