We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a male in his 50’s who lives with his loving family in Norwich. He requires support with his complex care needs on a 1:1 basis throughout the night.
At home he loves watching TV, especially his favourite cartoons, as well as listening to music and reading. He is a nature loving man who enjoys going out for walks and admiring the wildlife and the beauty of his garden.
We are looking for staff who can commit to his continuing rehabilitation and physiotherapy, whilst supporting him to access activities which are meaningful to him.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:
* 3 months' previous care experience
* Medication Administration
* Personal Care
* Moving and Handling
* Pet Friendly
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
* Brain Injuries
* PEG Feeding
* Nebulisers
Shifts Available
* Full Time and Part Time Available
* Nights: 8pm – 8am
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £15.50 per hour (£186 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £16.00 per hour (£192 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £17.00 per hour (£204 approx. per 12-hour shift)
