Due to the Company’s continued success, we are looking to expand the Customer Engagement Team in the Birmingham area and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Account Manager. Key Account Manager– Ref: V307
Based in Coleshill
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career within the security and communications industry. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience of working in the security sector.
The role involves: -
* To manage a number of key contracts within the business
* To secure and maintain strong, professional and high-quality relationships with our customer base
* To gain and maintain a strong, strategic understanding of our customers’ needs
* To act as the voice of the customer within the business
* To gain and maintain a strong relationship with manufacturers, distributors and consultants within the security sector
* To work with our customers to produce solutions that meet their operational and strategic needs, acting as their trusted and professional guide
* To survey, design and quote for the installation, service and maintenance of a range of life safety systems with a strong focus on CCTV
* To work with the wider team to support the submission of tenders and bids for new business
* To work with the Head of Customer Engagement to produce commercial forecasts.
Key experience/qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal skills with experience of providing a world class customer experience
* Experience of working within the Security Sector
* Strong knowledge of complex CCTV systems, associated transmission and networks
* Experience of designing or installing security, life safety and connected systems (including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire)
* Experience of constructing build sheets and quotations
* Experience of submitting competitive tenders and bids.
Skills and Capabilities:
* Understanding of integrated and networked systems
* Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
* Good commercial understanding
* Excellent customer service skills
* IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft software packages.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm (flexibility required)
Salary: £45,000 plus commission
