You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £26,475.80 per annum. The Operational Support Assistant role: This is a fantastic role to really get your teeth into Your role will be to handle daily enquiries and bookings from customers, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered and any complaints are followed up and escalated where required. Ensure all company systems are updated accurately and on a timely basis and relevant paperwork is in place Investigating and solving pre and post departure customer escalations Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed and updated. Adopt a diplomatic approach to problem resolution and will be comfortable working in a fast paced working environment. Dealing with transport bookings and queries What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Operational Support Assistant? Level 3 Customer Service or equivalent IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data Experience of liaising with customers and demonstrates an understanding of exceptional customer service Office-based experience involving transport operations or good knowledge of the logistics industry What skills are we looking for in our Operational Support Assistant: Ability to use initiative and to be so organised that key tasks can be completed fully and on time.
