Manpower are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to work for our national client based in the Tyseley area of Birmingham
Monday - Friday
9am-5pm (flexibility required during busy periods)
28k-30k (salary dependant on experience)
Duties:
* Day to day management of inventory functions for customers
* Devise and implement inventory KPI targets to ensure business and customer requirements are achieved
* Maintain stock accuracy and integrity inline with contractual requirements, minimising stock loss through investigation and resolution of errors
* Ability to use trend analysis to identify issues and areas of potential loss, taking action to minimise this
* Encourage staff participation in process improvement, raising quality and effective team-working
* Conduct regular reviews of training plans associated with inventory control to ensure they are fit for purpose
* Provision of all appropriate reporting for both internal and customers
* Attend meetings with inventory reporting
* Further duties to be discussed at the interview stage
Experience/Requirements:
* Inventory managerial experience
* Strong PC skills
* Good knowledge of creating and integrating spreadsheets
* Ability to interpret data
* High level of knowledge of warehouse systems
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Experience dealing with high value and high volumes stock transactions
