Salary: £13.17 per hour rising to £13.71 per hour on achievement of SVQ 2 (SCQF Level 6) qualification in Health & Social Care

Sunflower Care at Home Service is developing an Inverness-based service that supports end of life care for people with both cancer and non-cancer conditions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUNFLOWER CARE AT HOME PRACTITIONER
Reporting to the Sunflower Care at Home Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:
* Supporting family members and other professionals to provide excellent holistic, person-centred, palliative care.
* Supporting Service Users with their physical and emotional needs.
* Assisting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meals.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
To succeed in the role of Care at Home Practitioner you will be:
* Experienced in providing exceptional, holistic, person-centred care and support.
* Passionate about helping people.
* Compassionate, caring, and resilient.
* Respectful, sensitive and have an empathic approach.
* An excellent communicator who is comfortable talking to and working with family members and people from different professions.
* You’ll be great at keeping records, too.
* Take pride in what you do.
* SVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent – or willingness to work towards this.
* Full Driving Licence and a vehicle to use.
* Dedicated and passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives.
