About the Role:
Ferrero is on the lookout for a strategic and driven Shopper Marketing Manager to join our passionate team and bring our iconic brands to life at the point of sale. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how Ferrero connects with shoppers across key UK retailers.
In this role, you'll support the development and execution of sales strategies aligned with brand goals, adapting Ferrero’s global category plans to local market needs. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, you’ll act as a key integrator – ensuring demand planning, customer insights, and in-store activation all come together to drive category growth and long-term partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Shopper Marketing Manager at Ferrero, you will play a critical role in connecting Ferrero’s brand and category strategies with in-store execution, helping to shape how our brands show up in front of shoppers across key UK retailers. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Sales and Marketing, adapting global category visions into actionable, insight-led plans that drive visibility, conversion, and growth at the point of sale.
You’ll lead the development and rollout of shopper marketing initiatives across channels and customers—ranging from placement strategies and POS materials to trade promotions and in-store activations. By translating shopper and market insights into targeted programs, you’ll ensure Ferrero delivers meaningful value to both retailers and shoppers.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Category teams, you’ll support demand planning, align on commercial calendars, and champion the implementation of the “My Perfect Store” framework. You’ll track performance of in-store activities, analyse promotional ROI, and contribute to category development projects that elevate Ferrero’s in-store presence and influence purchase behaviour.
Your success will rely on your ability to blend strategic thinking with flawless execution—bringing together data, creativity, and collaboration to create shopper experiences that deliver against volume, profitability, and brand goals.
Who we are looking for:
At Ferrero, we’re looking for an innovative and adaptable Shopper Marketing professional with a strong understanding of the UK FMCG landscape and a proven ability to activate across multiple channels. You’ll bring experience in developing shopper marketing strategies that span the full path to purchase, both online and offline, and know how to translate insights into commercially impactful activation plans.
You should be a confident communicator and presenter, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels—both internally and externally. Your collaborative approach will enable you to build strong cross-functional relationships with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain.
Analytical by nature, you’ll be comfortable working with a wide range of data sources and have a keen eye for identifying insights, tracking performance, and making fact-based recommendations. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools is essential, as is the ability to clearly communicate findings in both written and verbal formats.
