We have an opportunity for a qualified and skilled Locality Clinical Manager to join our Ashford, Canterbury & Coastal Learning Disability Team.
The Community Learning Disability Team works with people who have learning disabilities and health conditions that need specialist care. The key aim is to reduce health inequalities by helping people overcome barriers to good health.
The multi-disciplinary team provides specialist health advice to people with learning disabilities, their carers, families, and the wider health and social care community. The team can provide community nursing care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, vision and hearing support, and speech and language therapy.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the effective leadership, management, delivery, and development of the community learning disability team (CLDT), including LD nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, assistant practitioners, and healthcare assistants, in a designated locality. To work with the Head of Service to ensure service development and delivery is in line with KCHFT's strategic and business objectives; and with national and local policy and regulatory standards, e.g., CQC.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Health/Social Care Practitioner. Recognised degree qualification or equivalent. Professional registration.
* Additional qualification in healthcare leadership and/or management.
Experience
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior clinician. Minimum of 2 years first-line management experience. Experience of integrated health working and partnership working with multi-agency colleagues. Experience of clinical audits and benchmarking. Experience of improving patient experience through complaint management or patient feedback.
* Experience of performance management and use of relevant tools. Experience of budget management and/or implementing cost efficiencies/best value for money. Experience of working in Learning Disability services. Experience of leading change.
