The actual work undertaken varies depending on previous and ongoing experience gained. This will be reflected in the instruction from your Line Manager. In general, however, the main responsibilities can include:
1. Implementation of all office policies and procedures
2. Ability to step into any administration task within the firm as required, both client and office
3. To know and understand how the whole office functions to ensure policies and procedures are followed
4. To work with secretarial and support staff to ensure that systems are followed and to cover any absences as required in respect of administration tasks
5. To support with the administration of business development as required
6. Answering telephone calls and efficiently directing calls to correct recipients, or taking messages where appropriate
7. Maintaining and organising the reception and meeting room areas
8. Organising appointments and diary management via both paper and electronic systems
9. Ad-hoc administrative duties
10. Assisting the Heads of Department, Solicitors and trainees as appropriate
11. Make a positive contribution towards departmental business growth
12. Supporting all colleagues
This position is part time Monday to Friday, 10AM - 3PM.
Driving license required.
