Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Reporting and Data Analyst to work on our Thames Water Metering and Developer Service contracts in Langley, Berkshire.
The Reporting and Data Analyst will join our Performance Team who provide detailed reporting on performance across the contract. As the Reporting and Data Analyst, you will be required to create and maintain a suite of reports using the data provided. The reports are designed to enable teams to make data-led decisions to enhance performance. You will also provide reporting within MWS and on behalf of our client to demonstrate our overall contractual performance. The Performance Team monitors performance and highlights best practices and areas of improvement.
The role is extremely varied and requires a passion for customer excellence, service delivery, and the ability to build strong working relationships with our client and other 3rd parties, built on integrity & trust.
All contract support activities need to be completed compliantly and within SLA to avoid financial fines. Compliance is specified by the Regulators, OfWAT, MOSL, Environment Agency, Highways Authorities & Consumer Council for Water, as well as the clients' own policies and procedures.
Morrison Water Services plays a key role in the Smart Metering and Developer Service contracts. The main purpose of the Smart Metering contract is to deliver the metering programme for Thames Water, engaging customers in the process, and installing and replacing water meters. The main purpose of the Developer Services contract is to deliver the new connections for developers on behalf of Thames Water, ensuring compliance with DMeX.
We offer a flexible working environment where hybrid working has been embedded. You would be required to attend our office in Langley three days per week.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
* Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.
* Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
* Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout.
* Accurately analyse and collect data for various types of business reports.
* Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers.
* Support various departments in reaching their goals through analysis.
* Monitor data to identify changes in business trends.
* Build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders based on integrity & trust.
* Take responsibility and ownership to maintain our contract with our client, Thames Water.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
* Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
* Advanced level of Microsoft Excel is key, for data extraction and manipulation to create pivot tables, graphs, charts, and dashboards.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to other parts of the business.
* Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.
* Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
* General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow.
* Ability to negotiate and manage stakeholders.
* Strong team player who supports others.
* Self-motivated individual with a passion for customer experience and operational delivery.
* Ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Skills:
* Power Query & Power BI.
* Experience of using Salesforce Field Service Lightning reporting.
* Experience of Visio and building process maps.
Additional Information:
Average 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday hours 0800 to 1630. Overtime at agreed rate.
