Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Rawtenstall Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Assist the Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher in delivering lessons and activities Support individual students or small groups with their learning and development Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assist with classroom management and behaviour of students Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational materials Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and engagement Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience working with children in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum Ability to engage and motivate young learners Organisational skills and attention to detail Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification If you are interested in the role, please apply with your CV, outlining your experience working with KS1 children.
