Key Responsibilities Provide dynamic leadership for the Mathematics Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. Lead curriculum planning, development, and implementation to support student achievement. Inspire and manage a team of mathematics teachers, promoting collaboration and professional growth. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, implementing improvements where necessary. Teach engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for the subject. Ensure the department aligns with school policies and contributes to whole-school initiatives. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A proven track record of success in teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
