We seek a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe, smooth, and proper functioning of machinery. You will prevent, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues related to plant machinery while maintaining a culture of Safety First in an industrial environment.
This industry-leading business is expanding rapidly in Waste Management, Resource Recovery, and Circular Economy, ensuring minimal waste. They are pioneering key UK and Ireland sustainability projects, recycling materials ranging from metals, plastics, and oil to hazardous waste, and exploring ways to utilize these for clean energy and fully recycled products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance levels and the safe operation of machinery, plant, and equipment.
* An electrical-biased role with some mechanical work involved, offering opportunities for further training and skill development.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
* Conduct safety checks on electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
* A background in electrical maintenance, with some mechanical experience desirable.
* Confident electrical experience, preferably in general plant machinery.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
