The successful candidate will have strong background in Finance and a keen eye for detail. Client Details The company is a medium-sized organisation in the Manufacturing sector. Description Oversee all finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger management. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met. Develop and maintain the budget and monitor performance against target through forecasting and variance analysis. Reconciling VAT report and submitting to HMRC on time. Produce end to end monthly management accounts. Balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and post journals for accruals prepayments Post Depreciation Managing the Fixed Asset Register Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with statutory regulations. Offer financial advice to management to aid in business planning and decision making. Monitor the budgeting process and conduct risk management. Participate in the development of strategic plans and objectives. Lead a small Finance team ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. AAT Qualified. Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data. Proficient in using financial software and tools. High level of accuracy. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
