Partnered with the NHS, our client is looking for an individual with Buyer experience to complete the purchasing processes with clients and suppliers, whilst ensuring that stock and supplies are updated and available.

Our client is a fast growing, discreet medical supplier based in Crawley.
Description
1. Taking ownership of the purchasing process to get the best discounts while meeting customer demand and minimising warehouse stock.
2. Monitoring supplier discounts and availability to ensure efficient and effective purchasing.
3. Liaising directly with clients (nurses), suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure products are secured and successfully delivered.
4. Ensuring all information is accurately recorded and all tasks actioned in a timely and professional manner.
5. Effectively managing time to meet all deadlines, due dates, and delivery schedules.
6. Having a full understanding of the internal and external customer's needs and exact requirements as their Buyer.
7. Ensuring continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicating any supply problems which may pose a risk to or impact on business operations.
8. Delivering purchasing briefs, updates, and reports as and when required.
9. Supporting the development of ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance, and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement for sourcing.
10. Supporting the development of team KPIs and strategies to aid purchasing performance.
11. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
