PROJECT DELIVERY LEAD
Wates have a terrific opportunity for a Project Delivery Lead to join our team covering London and the South East, with occasional support for other projects across the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Delivery Lead, you will work with the FM Project Manager, commercial team, and the wider Wates FM business to deliver projects of varying value and complexity, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest possible standards of safety, quality, and compliance with our Wates Operating standards.
We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead with strong demonstrable experience of leading a team with a history of successfully delivering projects up to £2m in value. A sound understanding of construction phase H&S, Business-Critical systems, and Change Management Procedures is required, along with SMSTS, First AID, Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent, and NVQ Level 2-3 in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline.
To be successful in the role, you will have strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and site management skills, and demonstrate the ability to plan, monitor & manage business functions and project delivery while aligning with the overall business strategy.
Some of the other Key Accountabilities as Project Delivery Lead include:
1. Own and lead all aspects of the project, including planning, monitoring, coordination, and controlling processes, summarizing progress, and setting deadlines for completion.
2. Produce project documentation & feasibility to completion in line with Wates FM and Clients' requirements, agreeing documentation format with the Client Account Representative and support services function.
3. Undertake regular project progress updates and collaborate closely with the operational team for any change management requirements.
4. Define acceptance criteria or collaborate with specialists to define acceptance criteria for project deliverables and work towards achieving stakeholder acceptance of deliverables.
5. Lead regular client meetings with project progress status and updates.
