Hays Business Support are recruiting a logistics coordinator on a full-time basis, paying GBP28500 per annum. The company is one of the UK's leading manufacturing businesses, creating high-end furniture, lighting, fabrics, and wallpapers.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced logistics team focusing on specialised administrative duties.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinating the end-to-end process of fulfilling client orders to ensure fast and accurate deliveries.
2. Filing and issuing export documentation.
3. Liaising with customers to provide shipping costs, shipment updates, and resolve delivery-related issues.
4. Managing ad-hoc courier bookings.
5. Collaborating with team members to plan and optimise delivery routes and reduce shipping costs.
6. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
7. Assisting in the warehouse at busy times.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you must have experience working within a logistics environment, be very proficient with Excel, and have a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for logistics.
