Seeking Planners to join a team based out of the client's North East or Yorkshire office.
As a Chartered Planner, you will be part of a busy planning team, handling a varied range of planning applications for both strategic and immediate projects.
Projects will include energy infrastructure (solar, battery, wind, hydrogen), waste management, mineral, and commercial schemes.
The roles offer a broad range of responsibilities for all aspects of the development process, including planning policy and appraisal work, land promotion, provision of planning consultancy services, detailed development management, and project delivery.
You will be required to coordinate and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and local communities.
You will also manage sub-consultants, undertake site appraisals, and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels. You will work closely with our other Chartered Planners and Landscape Architects and help manage and deliver new projects as part of our planned growth.
The successful applicant will ideally be RTPI qualified with a Degree/Masters planning qualification, a robust knowledge of the planning system, and experience preferably in the energy, waste, minerals, commercial, and residential sectors.
