The RoleWe are looking for a senior software engineer to work on interesting projects here at Resolver. To join our team, you will be experienced in writing and maintaining high performance code in C#, Python, or Javascript.As a senior engineer you will be participating in the entire software development life cycle, and will be working on a wide variety of projects as part of our product roadmap. You’ll be capable of working on your own or leading small teams of engineers to deliver agile projects.The opportunity offers the chance to work for a company that produces some of the most advanced technology in the world – technology that is utilised by some of the largest social media environments and games companies across the globe.There is also an opportunity to act as mentor and go to person for the associate developers and other less experienced members of the team.Directly Responsible Individual
1. Writing code
2. Writing unit tests
3. Demoing features to stakeholders and the wider business
4. Is responsible for the quality of the software created.
5. Interacts and partners and various stakeholders
6. Share knowledge and best practice.
The “What”
7. Analyse system requirements
8. Write clean, testable code using C#, Python, or Javascript
9. Test and debug various applications
10. Review and refactor code
11. Deploy fully functional applications
12. Support junior developers’ work
13. Document development and operational procedures
Essential Criteria
14. Work experience as a professional software developer
15. Proficiency in building web-based applications
16. In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following languages : C#, Python, or Javascript
17. Experience of using automated environment build tooling (ideally Azure Devops)
18. Troubleshooting abilities
19. Good communication skills
Desirable Criteria
20. Google Cloud Platform
21. Octopus Deploy
22. Agile Project delivery (ideally Kanban)
