We are looking for someone to work in our large admin team. You will enjoy being busy, dealing with the public, and be able to work under stressful conditions sometimes. You will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be taking calls from patients and other health care professionals. They will also deal with the public on a face-to-face basis. The role will involve using our computerised clinical system (training given) to produce prescriptions, make appointments, and answer patient queries.
Job responsibilities
1. Make appointments for patients by telephone and face-to-face
2. Greet patients at the front desk and deal with queries
3. Issue repeat prescriptions
4. Give results to patients as instructed by clinicians
5. Use computerised clinical system to enter data
6. Follow health and safety protocols
7. Support colleagues
8. Liaise with other health care professionals when required
Qualifications
* Grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent
* Previous experience with SystemOne
* NVQ in customer service or business admin or similar
