ASC Class Teacher

Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 to UPS & SEN allowance)

Teaching Personnel is working alongside a fabulous special education school for learners with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and a wide range of learning difficulties.
We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated ASC Class Teacher to join their team, supporting across the school with various ages from 2 years to 19 years of age.
The school is seeking an experienced ASC teacher who can support the ASC learners in engaging in positive learning experiences.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a creative classroom teacher with a real passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate learning and development alongside other members of teaching staff, SLT, medical and therapy staff.
- Have a positive and uplifting attitude about pupil's abilities.
Requirements:
- Hold QTS, a PGCE or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs in schools.
- Have a thorough understanding of SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Ability to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively within a team.
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
