Your role The Paid Search Manager will support the development & delivery of our product offering for the agency covering all areas of paid search, whilst adapting towards new tools and tactics as the space evolves. Leading on some of our key accounts, we’re looking for a truly passionate candidate who loves to be creative, experiment & learn and grow their profile to become a go-to authority in paid search within the agency and for the clients you’ll be working across. You will collaborate successfully with key stakeholders in the department to ensure a holistic, seamless, and future-facing strategic approach for all your clients. You’ll push for the agency to be at the cutting edge, powered by data-centric, critical and solutions-focussed thinking whilst embracing an integrated media approach for our clients within the wider Media team. Requirements As a Paid Search Manager, you will be required to: • Be a proven expert in paid search, demonstrating proven success and strong results across your experience in your roles to date • Manage a team of paid media professionals, being the anchor of the team and heading up a portfolio of clients. • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and suppliers. • Lead the paid media strategy within your client portfolio. • Lead on paid media strategy within new business proposals and presentations • Manage the task workflow within your team. • Forecast & calculate projected results of campaigns. • Manipulate data and present findings through commentary and visual formats. • Understand the wider marketing mix and how other channels can integrate into paid media strategy. Skills Required • 3 years of industry experience with a proven track record in paid media. • Experience in team management/mentoring and the ability to lead and motivate a team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills. • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. • Advanced understanding of paid search across Google and Bing. Able to manage and optimise key accounts to drive business outcomes. • Advanced understanding and experience running Google search products such as Performance Max, Shopping and Demand Gen. • A strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail. • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build weekly reports using formulas and lookup tables. • Excellent skills in Google Analytics with the ability to extract and analyse key data insights. • Excellent skills in Looker Studio (or other reporting packages) to create compelling visualisations and dashboards. • A strong understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape and how paid media integrates with other channels. • A passion for paid media and a desire to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
