Our client, a successful and fast-paced family-run distribution company, is seeking a proactive and organised Office Manager. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who enjoys multitasking and taking initiative to ensure smooth office operations and excellent customer service.
π Key Responsibilities
As the Office Manager, your responsibilities will include:
π’ Office Administration
π Managing daily office operations, supplies, and general upkeep.
π Overseeing office procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.π Customer Service & Order Processing
π§ Handling customer enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
π¦ Processing and tracking orders, managing returns, and ensuring timely updates to customers.
π οΈ Resolving complaints effectively to maintain strong customer relationships.βοΈ Operational & Administrative Support
π» Utilising Sage software for order processing, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
ποΈ Assisting senior management with various administrative duties.
π Coordinating with the distribution team to optimise operations.
π Training staff on office systems and best practices.
π Organising company events, including trade fairs and team-building activities.π‘ Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
π Is hands-on and proactive in problem-solving.
π₯ Excels at multitasking and thrives in a busy environment.
π£οΈ Has strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
π Possesses keen attention to detail and strong prioritisation skills.
π Has experience with Sage or similar business management software (training provided if needed).
π Is flexible and willing to support the business during peak seasons, including Christmas.
πΆ Is comfortable around dogs, as they are occasionally present in the office.π Required Qualifications & Experience
π Prior experience in office management, administration, or a similar role (preferably in distribution or logistics).
π₯οΈ Proficiency in Sage software is essential.
π Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
π Proven ability to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
