Job Description
1. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
2. Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
3. Assist in the production of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
4. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
5. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
6. Analyse market trends and competitors.
7. Oversee operations of the finance department.
8. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
1. A strong background in accounting and finance.
2. Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
3. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
4. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
5. Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
