Job Summary: KEY PURPOSE Deliver quality business support to one business unit by providing accurate financial information, leading quarterly forecasts and leveraging our proprietary metrics to ensure high performance. Job Description: YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of monthly management accounts, weekly reports, KPIs and variance analysis Quarter end reporting to Portfolio Implement appropriate controls for the business unit, in particular around project revenue reporting to ensure that revenue is recognised correctly Opex control and analysis Complete month end balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring differences are resolved in a timely manner Ownership of the quarterly forecasting process in Adaptive, making sure that the data received from the management team is accurate and on time Support other members of the Finance team with ad-hoc duties, including statutory audits and group led projects Assist with the planned move from Great Plains to NetSuite and other Finance led improvement projects TO BE ELIGIBILE YOU NEED CIMA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in a finance environment. Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, look-up functions and similar. Strong organisational abilities, experience of managing and working to tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to finance. General knowledge of accounting principles, and technically competent with finance and accounting knowledge and skills. An understanding of IFRS15 would be a bonus Computer literate, with experience in using accounting software and analytical and reporting tools. Ability to work flexible hours under pressure to tight timescales, especially during month, quarter and year end close. Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to and implement change.
